Four ordinary people living with HIV in Scandinavia. They have family, friends and children. They try to lead ordinary lives despite fear and Aids and numberless new cures that fail to work. The film asks the question; is it possible to live a positive life with HIV? This documentary tries to make people understand how it is to live with this virus and why it is filled with prejudice. Sylvian (39) is born in Norway, but grew up in Sweden. Recently she became a grandmother. Sylvian lives with Lennart in the countryside outside Stockholm. Lennart is not infected. Ole Johnny (43) lives in Norway. He has got three sons, all majority of age. Steve (43) is gay and lives with Bengt, another HIV positive. Ole Johnny and Steve have experienced problems with new HIV medicines. Niels (48) lives in Demark with his daughter. Sylvian and Niels have decided not to take any medicine.
