Raghu Rai is the father of Indian photography. His story is told by young Avani Rai, who have to fight for her own voice in the shadow of her father.
Raghu Rai has been photographing India for 50 years. He has captured many of the major events of India’s history from political conflicts to the everyday realities of the people. His photos on Bhopal disaster, India Gandhi, Mother Theresa and Dalai Lama are world famous. Raghu Rai’s life and work are revealed by Avani Rai, the director of the film. Through the film we follow also how she is struggling to find her own voice.
