Rune Denstad Langlo
Rune Denstad Langlo (b.1972) is a Norwegian director and writer with a background in documentaries. Some of his earliest titles are the documentary series Too Much Norway (2005) and the feature length documentary 99 % Honest (2008). Rune’s first feature film North (2009) won the Critic’s Award in Berlinale Panorama in 2009, the same year as Langlo was voted ”Best Emerging Filmmaker” at the Tribeca Film Festival. His second feature film Chasing the Wind (2013) received great reviews and screened at festivals throughout the world. In recent years he has mastered most genres, a.o. the short film Foul (2014) and the drama series Aquitted (2014), co-directed with Geir Henning Hopland. His feature comedy Welcome to Norway premiered in 2016.
